Silent Sun Setting Sky Into Frost Then Heat Bursting Blooms

There is a lovely fragrance about the garden . . . the present heat wave is hard on the fragile spring petals . . . it is all happening so fast . . . though the earlier days did linger . . . then the full moon brought us a few frosty mornings . . . now the Crabapples, Apples, Viburnums and Lilacs are bursting into full bloom. Here are a few views from the north garden . . . all my shrubs and trees growing in an insidious ocean of 'bishops weed'! The Ruby-throated Hummingbird just arrived today along with the Indigo Bunting and several Warblers.
