I saw also the full moon last night but i can't see it on my window and am too lazy to come down the building, haha. Anyway, there still are many more full moons to come. Larry said...: Oh my... so exquisite! I haven't seen a porcupine since I left Vermont... yours is one of the few blogs I encourage my wife to take a look at regularly. There is so much life about your place! We did a private garden tour with my garden group a couple nights ago and saw three gardens. Sarah's comment was how quiet they were... virtually no birds. Last evening we had a group visiting our gardens and socializing in the gazebo... we could barely hear one another for all the birds singing. We also did some group acapella singing and one person commented that the louder we sang, the louder the birds sang... such a wonderful post you've shared today! It was not our first encounter . . . a prickly post coming up. It was my words that were prickly the little family just want to eat my apple tree! Yes, Rob, that is Yucca. Carol said...: Thank you Phillip! The deer do nibble now and then but they have never wiped me out of any flower or plant. They will eat my veggie greens come cool weather . . . only after the frost. I manage the land to feed all of us and it seems to work. Once in awhile there is a new buck on the block and they have done damage to my evergreen hedges. I do not blame them so for the "deer" ticks either. I find that I have problems when I have rabbits and mice. I love the deer but I am firm with them when need be.; July 16, 2011 at 4:25 PM
