Wow Carol, you have a lot of whites there, and that big droplet is really marvelous. I saw also the full moon last night but i can't see it on my window and am too lazy to come down the building, haha. Anyway, there still are many more full moons to come. Your animals are also very lovely. How are you now? take care.
Oh my... so exquisite! I haven't seen a porcupine since I left Vermont... yours is one of the few blogs I encourage my wife to take a look at regularly. There is so much life about your place! We did a private garden tour with my garden group a couple nights ago and saw three gardens. Sarah's comment was how quiet they were... virtually no birds. Last evening we had a group visiting our gardens and socializing in the gazebo... we could barely hear one another for all the birds singing. We also did some group acapella singing and one person commented that the louder we sang, the louder the birds sang... such a wonderful post you've shared today! Sincerely, Larry
Simply stunning! Your photos and gardens are always full of inspiration for me. I love the porcupine, what a treat to see such an unusual creature.
Thank you for sharing your Farm and it's awesome beauty. Exceptional photography, as always. White is so calming isn't it; lovely Carol.
Carol, I love your whites and off-whites... Pure delight...
Is that a yucca bloom I see?
The porcupine's cute
Carol, These photographs are quite astounding - you really are a magnificent photographer!!! And thanks for sharing. Charlotte
Absolutely stunning photos. The bird made me gasp in delight. And the deer is precious.
This was a wonder filled post.

White wonderland Carol - what a camera. Hope the photographer is feeling better. The first image looks like a spider monkey - what is it?
Very nice photos! The hydrangeas in full bloom always make me want to hop in and take a nap, they look so fluffy and soft.
Thank you so much for sharing everyone! You are so kind to visit. The little critter in the first shot is a moma Porcupine climbing down from an old apple tree. It was not our first encounter . . . a prickly post coming up. It was my words that were prickly the little family just want to eat my apple tree! Yes, Rob, that is Yucca. I hope you are all enjoying the summer or winter depending on where you are. I so wish for rain for those who need it.
Spectacular Carol! What beautiful shots. I am puzzled by the little critter in the tree in the first picture though. What is it? The bird closeups are so pretty.
Absolutely stunning! Do you have problems with deer eating your plants?
Thank you Phillip! The deer do nibble now and then but they have never wiped me out of any flower or plant. They will eat my veggie greens come cool weather . . . only after the frost. I manage the land to feed all of us and it seems to work. Once in awhile there is a new buck on the block and they have done damage to my evergreen hedges. I do not blame them so for the "deer" ticks either. I find that I have problems when I have rabbits and mice. I love the deer but I am firm with them when need be.
Carol,
The Red-eyed Vireo photos are just cute, loved them. Never seen a porcupine before, and you have them in the back forty!
First of all . . . a porcupine! I look forward to the follow-up, but hope for you and your apple tree that you've seen the last of him! You must never tire of seeing the moon rising over the hills. And I love how you capture native fauna eye-to-eye. As for the entire post as a whole, your white theme is perfect . . . very meditative.
Glorious whites photographed beautifully. Porcupine! do you realise how exotic that is.
Today's photos are really special. And porcupines! we don't have them.

Oh, Carol, what lovely photos! The cloud and moonscapes are just exquisite. And it's so wonderful to see raindrops on those beautiful yucca blossoms--it actually made me laugh to realize that yucca can grow so happily out there along with the--is it a lady's slipper of some sort in the bottom photo? I hope the porcupine and her family are learning to behave themselves.
Carol, I love the variety of whites in your garden. All over my garden, white spider egg cases are hatching out zillions of tiny spiders. -Jean
I have never seen a porcupine in the wild! Great photos. White in its many forms really helps to freshen the summer garden.
So beautiful. As always.
Thinking of you in my garden. Love Lillebeth
That was lovely, calming, and relaxing. Beautiful!
That porcupine is amazing! You have quite the menagerie! Your image of the moon is outstanding. I enjoyed the moonrise the other night but never thought to photograph it!
Cool whites! I especially love how you captured the deer in motion. What a gorgeous little fawn.
That was a delightful photo show! I loved the porcupine! ~What a cutie pie! Sighing with delight! gail

Thank you so everyone!
Stacy that is a spider in the last three shots. It does look like a lady's slipper though!
