Misty Monster Drops into New Autumn Day Greets Speckled Hermit Thrush

Weather patterns seem to rush by these days. Rapidly forming wisps of dark clouds morph into shapes of large monster like creatures one minute... then flame like consuming a forest in the next ... casting tiny drops that shimmer with glimpses of light. Then all becomes quiet and calm for the night. When the sun rises and paints a new sky, light falls on foliage becoming brighter by and by... a Hermit Thrush settles on a favored perch presenting his markings and habits identifying him. As the day grows longer so too its shadows along Carey Hill, where in the valley the light stretches across Mount Tom and hills beyond in hues of blue.
