The World Goes Around and Around and Upside Down

Near winter quiet
dawn and dusk dazzling daylight
downy dons bright red

a sleepy landscape
within a wide world turning
around and around

everything seems upside down
citizens awake

Faraway in Sweden imaginations are pondering upside down for Katarina's Roses and Stuff.

Hello Carol, I am glad you posted again, and as usual they are all marvelous. I always see that style of sun and morning moon in my west view, but of course, i can't get as beautiful as these. hahaha! Even upside down, things are still lovely, maybe it's just a matter of perspective. take care and best regards.

Gobsmacked by your landscape shots, as usual ... even if some are upside down the view is magnificent!

Looking at 'reflections'. You can also upend the image and get a disconcerting left and right mirror image.

Thank you All! Oh Andrea I think your views are staggering really! Diana, I just turned these images upside down . . . I could not possibly turn myself around enough right now (too dizzy) but it would be lovely to have reflections as you suggest and more left. I am trying to bring attention to how I feel the world is upside down with climate change and the numbers are scary! Please click on ninety-nine percent and read. I just wish everyone would call and write their reps demanding clean green energy now . . . the world over . . . but particularly in my own country where sadly we waste, waste, waste and use too much. It has been proven that a simple call does work and if the entire 99% would act . . . things might change.

Oh Carol, what a treat to come back after a g-a-p to see these spectacular images! Such beautiful thoughts converted into these precious scenes for us. All so very beautiful. Thank you!

Gorgeous fiery sunset images!

I love Woodpeckers - they move up and down tree trunks like little clockwork toys.
With politicians it is always re-election and never the big picture that occupies their minds. Having their backbone stripped out the moment they take office does not help either!

Beautiful shots, the mists and colours in the skies combine to make great compositions. The woodpecker is lovely too. The upside down shots act a reflections. Great.
