Blooming Friday Fabulously Fine Freely Falling Folds

Be sure to click on the photos to see the true vibrant colors of one of my all time favorite flowers, Iris Japonica. I love the delicately painted colors in the tops of the folds. The voles have nearly wiped us out of these treasures. It is rather quiet in the gardens... I miss the Baltimore Orioles calls and songs, but the Indigo Bunting is singing his heart out throughout the day. The little Common Yellow Throat is busy collecting insects for his young. The Veery too is still singing his psychedelic songs. More quiet spaces in between the songs these days. Visit other gardens to see what is blooming the world over at Roses and Stuff http://rosorochris.blogspot.com/
